There are dozens of advantages to renting a car: moving about the whole of the area without restrictions of public transit (which may be messy and confusing, pending language barriers), exploring areas outside of your pinpoint destination (such as bordering towns and attractions), and the capability to relax knowing you don't have to be stuck with the stringent confines of your immediate vicinity. When planning your trip, it's a great idea to compare car rental prices to get the best deal possible.
  
  When looking at prices while comparing car rental services, make sure to look at their payment policies. It's fairly common that car rental agencies expect a payment with a credit card. Some locations will begrudgingly allow cash, or debit in return for the rental, but it varies depending on agency and region. The phrase "fail to plan, plan to fail" is true here, and there would be nothing more stressful than not being able to rent after already having arrived at your vacation spot.
